Résumé
Dès sa naissance, Eva a eu du mal à supporter et à accepter son fils Kevin. Le nourrisson crie trop, ce qui l'exaspère. Devenu enfant, Kevin répond à l'hostilité de sa mère en se comportant comme un bébé ou en multipliant les bêtises. Eva, elle, a renoncé à toute ambition professionnelle et a abandonné sa confortable vie en ville pour élever son fils en banlieue. Tout bascule lorsque Kevin, à 16 ans, ouvre le feu dans son lycée. Eva, bouleversée, s'interroge sur sa responsabilité. En se remémorant les étapes de sa vie et de l'éducation de Kevin, elle tente de comprendre ce qu'elle a mal fait ou aurait dû faire...
