Résumé
En 2019, une adolescente, Mallory Beach, est victime d'un accident de bateau, en présence de Paul Murdaugh, le pilote supposé de l'embarcation. Lorsque Paul Murdaugh et sa mère sont retrouvés assassinés deux ans plus tard, de nombreux secrets concernant la dynastie familiale, et notamment le père de Paul, Alex Murdaugh, sont dévoilés au grand jour. A partir de ce moment-là, des informations sortent sur le père, qui détenait énormément de pouvoir dans tout l'Etat.
